Modelling Mobile Object Activities Based on Trajectory Ontology Rules Considering Spatial Relationship Rules

چکیده
Several applications use devices and capture systems to record trajectories of mobile objects. To exploit these raw trajectories, we need to enhance them with semantic information. Temporal, spatial and domain related information are fundamental sources used to upgrade trajectories. The objective of semantic trajectories is to help users validating and acquiring more knowledge about mobile objects. In particular, temporal and spatial analysis of semantic trajectories is very important to understand the mobile object behaviour. This article proposes an ontology based modelling approach for semantic trajectories. This approach considers di erent and independent sources of knowledge represented by domain and spatial ontologies. The domain ontology represents mobile object activities as a set of rules. The spatial ontology represents spatial relationships as a set of rules. To achieve this approach, we need an integration between trajectory and spatial ontologies.

Extending the Qualitative Trajectory Calculus Based on the Concept of Accessibility of Moving Objects in the Paths
Qualitative spatial representation and reasoning are among the important capabilities in intelligent geospatial information system development. Although a large contribution to the study of moving objects has been attributed to the quantitative use and analysis of data, such calculations are ineffective when there is little inaccurate data on position and geometry or when explicitly explaining ...
متن کاملOntology inference using spatial and trajectory domain rules
Capture devices give rise to a large scale spatiotemporal data describing moving object’s trajectories. These devices use different technologies like global navigation satellite system (GNSS), wireless communication, radio-frequency identification (RFID), and sensors techniques. Although capture technologies differ, the captured data share common spatial and temporal features. Thus, relational ...

Capture devices rise large scale trajectory data from moving objects. These devices use different technologies like global navigation satellite system (GNSS), wireless communication, radio-frequency identification (RFID), and other sensors. Huge trajectory data are available today. In this paper, we use an ontological data modeling approach to build a trajectory ontology from such large data. T...

Conceptual modelling methods such as ER (Chen, 1976), EER (Elmasri and Navathe, 1994; Gogolla, 1994), KISS (Kristen, 1994), NIAM (Nijssen and Halpin, 1989), OOSA (Embley, Kurtz, and Woodfield, 1992) and ORM (Halpin, 2001) have traditionally been developed with the aim of providing conceptual models of database structures. More recently, however, such modelling methods have shown their use for m...

Direction relations, as an important spatial relationship, is simply expressed as object prosperity in traditional geo-ontology. The lacking of explicit specifications and reasoning rules of direction relations in geo-ontology result in the difficult or inflexible of spatial reasoning.
